Liberty in Fashion Exhibition, 6th October – 28th February
‘I was determined not to follow existing fashion but to create new ones’ Arthur Lasenby Liberty. This exhibition will explore the impact of Liberty’s fashion from Orientalism to Aesthetic dress in the 19th Century through to Art Deco styles in the 20th Century. Renowned, for her floral and paisley prints – it is time to celebrate the 140th anniversary of the company, with over 150 garments!
Pasta Sereni – Opened 7th October
Nothing fancy, but the perfect way to have a speedy yet delicious lunch, with a range of hot dishes prepared daily especially their fantastic pastas, and soups, but there are also a range of salads and top coffee! You can sit in or take away but this certainly is going to be one of our favourite good fast food restaurants in London.
Frieze London – 14th – 17th October
Hosted in the beautiful Regents Park in London, Frieze Art Fair showcases over 160 of the world’s most exciting contemporary art galleries – with art both from emerging and international art dealers being displayed – there truly is something for everyone at this glamorous event.
Raven Girl – 6th – 24th October
A day out at the ballet is always a fabulous day, and the production of Raven Girl is going to be brilliant. A modern fairy tale from Choreographer Wayne McGregor, this mixed programme of ballets is inspired by both science and fairy tales.
Bandol – 13th October opening
From the owners of Margaux, a favourite of Pippa Middelton’s the owners are now planning a second venture in Chelsea. The menu with be Provencal sharing dishes, with Lavender and Thyme ice cream already making it a hit for us!! The style will be French Riviera and there will be two private dining rooms for special events!
